Aimée Gille learned to knit as a child. Through opening her own yarn shop, and starting her own yarn company, she has learned many things along the way, including many useful knitting techniques. In this class, you will learn some of her favorite tips & tricks. Aimée is eager to share her wealth of knowledge to help make knitting an easier, and more pleasurable activity, for knitters of all levels.

This is a lecture class with a hands-on component.

Skill Level: All levels welcome

Homework: Participants need to complete a swatch in advance and bring it with them to participate: Make a approximately a 6x6 inch swatch using a 2, 3, 4 or 5 plied DK yarn. Do not bind off - the swatch will be used in class to practice a bind-off technique and weaving in ends.

Required Materials:

●  Bring a range of needles from US sizes 3.75 to 4.5mm with a long cable (100cm / 40in)

●  Darning needle

●  Contrast color of DK / Worsted weight waste yarn (preferably Merino or wool based, not fuzzy yarn, not too dark)

●  Scissors

●  Tape measure

●  Stitch markers that open and close

●  Pen and notebook for note taking
