Aimée Gille
From being a yarn shop owner and creating Paris’ first café tricot to starting her own yarn company with its custom-milled bases, its exclusive and eye-catching color style, La Bien Aimée yarn is now synonymous with luxury in the handknitting world. Behind it all is Aimée Gille.
Aimée began her fiber career in the industry as a yarn shop owner in 2008, Aimée then expanded into hand-dyeing as a self-taught dyer in 2015. La Bien Aimée developed specific techniques, unique to the brand. Aimée continues to search for new methods and bases to add to her repertoire. Her
unique style and distinctive yarn bases and colorways reflect her main passions in life.
A knitter since childhood, Aimée's long years of experience as a knitter have taught her tips and tricks to make knitting fun and easy as it should be.

Aimee Sher
Aimee Sher is a Taiwanese American knitter, spinner, and sometimes sewist and weaver who has a passion for thoughtful design details. Inspired by the foods and experiences and creations of the Asian American diaspora, they began designing in 2021. Aimee has designed for or taught for: Pom Pom Magazine, Making Magazine, Vogue Knitting Live, KnitPicks, and more.

Andrea Lui
Andrea’s expertise comes from her background as a physical therapist. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wellesley College, and obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS), and is skilled in treating a variety of patients with acute and chronic pain. She is also a NASM-certified personal trainer. Andrea is passionate about patient education and empowering her patients to help themselves.
And to her list of accomplishments, Andrea can now add published author; her first book, Craft Without Pain, will make it's debut at Unwind 2026

Bea Bonanno
Bea Bonanno is a tapestry weaver and fiber arts instructor living in Lawrence, KS. She loves to share the joys of making by teaching workshops on weaving, knitting, surface design, and collage making. Bea is motivated by the hope that learning new techniques will spark fresh inspiration for her students to bring into their own creative practices.

Brienne Moody
Brienne Moody is a knitwear designer and dedicated trail running mom hailing from the rocky shores of Northern Minnesota, nestled along Lake Superior. Her sweater pattern, Brienne, was published in La Bien Aimee's latest book, Neon’s & Neutrals.
Brienne believes in the life-changing power of movement and craft in communities. She is passionate about helping knitters to reveal how their personal stories have been woven into their knitting projects.

Lindsey Fowler
Lindsey Fowler lives in Northeast Ohio, USA, with her partner, twins, an old mutt and 2 cats. Socks are her favorite personal project to work on. As a designer, Lindsey likes working with textures and finding new takes on classics. She is continuously inspired by nature, architecture, and traditional handicrafts. Her debut book, Salt & Timber, came out in fall of 2022, and her beloved second book, Trails & Valleys: Knitwear for Family Adventures, was a feature of Unwind 2025.

Britt Garber
Britt Garber is a crochet designer, teacher, and community builder. She has 5+ years of experience designing patterns and teaching at national events like Flock Fiber Festival, Vogue Knitting Live, and Sacred Sheep. Her work is known for bold design, approachable techniques, and inclusivity--helping crocheters of all levels find joy and confidence in their craft.
She specializes in shawl, Tunisian crochet, and modern pattern design, and is passionate about empowering makers to see themselves as designers. Find her on Instagram @knotbadbritt and on Ravelry at KnotBadBritt Designs.

Joji Locatelli
Joji is a beloved knitwear designer living in and loving Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She is Latina and loves to bring her personality to everything she creates. She knits and writes with her entire heart, and is a fierce a promoter of kindness and generosity who firmly believes in 'craftivism'.
To Joji, being a communicator in her community, in real life and online is very important. She stands strong against racism and discrimination of any kind and encourages you to join her in this fight.
She is a proud Mom of two boys who spends her days dreaming of new knitting projects and, when she can, a little bit of traveling too.
Jojie hopes to inspire you with her knitting patterns, a true reflection of what she loves to wear: draped fabrics, beautiful details, simple lines.

Romi Hill
Romi Hill lives on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Northern Nevada, where the high desert nights are cool and the air is clear and crisp. A lifelong crafter and knitter, she is inspired by the natural surroundings in her corner of the world, and her designs have an organic flow. She specializes in lace of all weights, and her patterns are
known for their knitterly details.
Romi's lace book from Interweave Press: “New Lace Knitting” features timeless patterns for garments and accessories. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines and books, and knit by thousands of knitters.

Paola Vanzo
Paola Vanzo is the co-founder and creative heart behind mYak, where Italian design meets Tibetan tradition to spin stories in yarn. With a Master’s degree in Chinese Studies, Paola spent over two decades living and working between China and Tibet, leading non-profit projects that supported local communities. While working with Tibetan nomads on a dairy initiative, she discovered the incredible potential of yak fiber — and an idea was born: to turn a thread of tradition into a bridge for social impact.
Today, through mYak and the Kangri Metok project, Paola continues to connect worlds — blending art, compassion, and entrepreneurship in everything she does. Warm, curious, and endlessly creative, she believes that in her world, yarn is never just yarn — it’s a story, a journey, a bridge between hearts.

Lavender Lune Yarn Co.
Meet Sam of Lavender Lune Yarn Co. Based out of the Northwoods of Minnesota, LLYC has been in business for over 7 years now. Sam gathers inspiration from the beauty around her creating earthy wearable colorways. She dyes yarn on lots of different unique bases, from superwash to organic, to her millspun from her own flock.
When not dyeing yarn or attending knitting events, Sam is Shepherdess to her own flock of fine fleeced Shetland Sheep and Romeldale/CVM sheep; learn more here. She has 4 kids ranging in age from 7-17, and she and her husband are first generation farmers,having only moved to their acerage about 2 years ago. Sam also enjoys the paranormal and ghost hunting while attending knitting events across the country.

Whether you're a goblin forest witch or just someone looking to add some magic to your crafting, P&H has a curated collection of colors and bases for any of your dream projects, and seeks out different bases with fiber content including, but not limited to, Corriedale, Polwarth, BFL, and hopefully many more.

JillieA Bags
Jill Addessi creates project bags and carry tools for makers and fiber enthusiasts.
The idea for a JillieA Bags was born during a knitting retreat in Maine, when a group of friends debated what they liked and didn’t like about all the knitting bags they owned. On the flight home, the better project bag design was born. A few months later, one of those friends commissioned a project bag. And the commissions kept coming.
Since then, JillieA has had successful trunk shows, pop-up events, and vendor markets. Her bags are currently carried at Unwind Fiber Arts, and on-line from her website.
When not making bags, Jill is walking dogs, reading, traveling, or knitting in public. Most knitted pattern: Barley hat from Tin Can Knits. (Current count: 61)

Moondrake Co.
Moondrake Co. is an indie dyed yarn company, featuring a tantalizing array of colors and fibers. Rachelle Dickey is the creative force behind Moondrake; she's a Canadian now living a creative life in Oklahoma, and a proud Asian maker who loves knitting/crocheting/sewing. Rachelle is always interested in finding new materials and trendy colors for her dye work, which always has a prominent home at Unwind.

Treasure Goddess Yarn
Christine Long-Derks is the owner, dyer and head Yarn Pirate of Treasure Goddess Yarn; she dyes intense, saturated tonal colors on luxury yarn that takes your breath away! Treasure Goddess shares the finest YARRRRNNIE treasures with a sense of adventure, including pirate sheep logo and ocean themed colorways. Christine is an unabashed yarn snob, so only creates yarn & fiber that she would love to use herself.
Treasure Goddess yarn is hand dyed in a big red barn on 10 acres just outside Kansas City, which hosts big yarn parties and workshops through the year.

North Bay Fiber
North Bay Fiber is a family-owned yarn company founded by knitwear designer Jill Zielinski (aka Knitterella). Dedicated to producing high-quality, breed-specific, non-superwash yarns, all of which are 100% American sourced and milled. Since its inception in 2021, North Bay Fiber has grown rapidly, launching three custom-milled and hand-dyed yarn lines—Heritage, Elemental, and Journey. In 2023, the company expanded into a new facility with enhanced dyeing operations and a brick-and-mortar yarn shop.
